Picnic - Seven kinds of colours

A picnic around Speldosan where wreaths in macramé, wool and with sequins was made, as a preparation for the midsummer-dance taking place on Saturday. With special support from Sol Hanna Eriksson and Sandra Lundberg the wreaths was decorated with hair, sequins and wool.

The goal was both to start a conversation about untraditional handicraft and to create a intimate social space in the big exhibition room. The creation rather than the result was in focus. [krig] is interested in breaking down the neat handicraft to show the forces behind it.

During the picnic we listened to the soundtrack from “Sound of Repetitions and Destruction”. A rhythm that suited the rhythm of the making.
